Summary

 

JOB SUMMARY:
Assists with overall operations of all Off-site Nutrition locations while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff. Takes direction from Manager in Retail and Culinary business in accordance with corporate programs and guidelines. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families, guests and co-workers.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

EXPERIENCE:
  • One year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Manager Serve Safe Certificate.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Language Skills:
    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before small groups of customers or associates of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills:
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Computer Skills:
    Possesses necessary skills to effectively operate departments POS system, including back house system, word processing, Excel, labeling system, and general data entry.
  • Reasoning Ability:
    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
