Melrose Facilities

What’s nice about working at Melrose is that you have the small-town feel but with the resources of a large organization.

We have a level IV trauma center in our 25-bed hospital, which is connected to our clinic and on the same campus as the Melrose care center and Park View Place.

Nursing assistants, nurses (RNs and LPNs), nutrition services, environmental services, and patient access are the most popular jobs in Melrose. Our nursing team gets extra float support whenever it’s needed. And we also have a variety of allied health positions, including pharmacy techs, rad techs, surgical techs, PT & OT, and more!

We provide collaborative workspaces for providers and nurses
Our team provides caring support through RN nurse lead visits, diabetes education, coordinated care for complex needs, legal aid, and guidance for uninsured or underinsured patients.

Physician Support

We offer a range of supportive services to make care easier and more accessible. Providers have the option to use voice-recognition software (Dragon) or scribe support for documentation. Our community engagement team includes a health worker and a paramedic who provide patient outreach and home visits. Prescription assistance programs are available for uninsured and underinsured patients, while in-room schedulers ensure follow-up appointments are made before patients leave, supporting continuity of care. Families benefit from the CentraCare Foundation-supported Reach Out & Read program, promoting literacy from an early age. Mental health integration is a priority, with same-day video consults with Behavioral Health specialists and psychiatry chart reviews for medication management. For specialty access, e-consults allow primary care providers to manage cases without the wait for a formal consult.

"I've been with CentraCare for 9 years because I know I'm making a difference in my community. Direct patient care is not something I was ever interested in but by working in recruitment I'm still able to indirectly make an impact. My work ties to patients and employees. I could do recruitment in any industry, but in healthcare, I'm truly changing lives."
