Medical Scribe Programs are designed to be a stepping-stone experience prior to professional school, offering paid clinical work experience, paid training, professional development workshops (personal statement, interview, MMI), paid clinical lectures, flexible shift scheduling and more.
A Medical Scribe works 1:1 with a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner to complete the electronic health record in real-time, allowing the provider to focus on patient care. Scribes become familiar with the workflow of medicine, medical decision-making process, medical terminology and different provider styles to patient care.
