The Clinic LPN has a supportive role within the clinic health care team, delivering primary health care. Responsibilities include: Ensure that patients are screened and placed in exam rooms. Measure vital signs, visual acuity, height and weight as required. Answer phones, inform patients of test results, patient education regarding health maintenance. Directly assists providers with diagnostic procedures. Administer injections, immunizations and perform TB skin testing, ear lavage and electrocardiograms as requested. Record patient data in charts, clean and stock patient care areas, sterilize instruments. Assist in other areas of clinic as needed.
The LPN is accountable and responsible for his/ her professional development, knowledge, and skills through participation in continuing education.
- High School diploma or G.E.D
- Graduate of an accredited professional Licensed Practical Nursing program
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current Minnesota Nursing License
- CPR certified
