As a Provider with our Melrose Hospital and Clinic, you will work in collaboration with our team of Physicians, Providers and support staff.  In this role, you can expect to care for individuals in all stages of life following established protocols, however, you do have day-to-day independence in health care decisions for your patients. 

This position is full-time in our clinic caring for primary care patients from newborn to geriatrics.  The Melrose Clinic is a rural clinic in a Spanish speaking community. 


At CentraCare Melrose, our team of skilled health care providers offers quality care in an efficient, cost-effective and caring manner to patients of all ages.  Melrose is comprised of a primary care clinic, 14-bed critical access hospital, 75-bed long-term care facility, 60-unit senior housing with services facility and a guest house for families desiring to stay close to loved ones.  In addition to those services, we have several specialists on outreach who provide patient consultation, education, and diagnostic testing at the hospital on a regular basis.

CentraCare Melrose has been designated as a Comprehensive Advanced Life Support hospital by a coalition of Minnesota health care organizations and individuals, reflecting a commitment to quality rural emergency medical care.


To be eligible for this position you must meet one of the following requirements;

  • Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or hold a current Minnesota Physician Assistant Licensure

We would prefer that our candidate have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in one of the following;

  • Emergency Department
  • Urgent Care
  • Family Medicine
  • Walk-In Clinic

In addition, all applicants must have a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card and Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number prior to receiving clinical privileges.
