About the Program

• The Pre‑Med Shadow Program is open to United States citizens with strong ties to central Minnesota. Applicants must have completed a minimum of two years of college coursework and be available to participate on their assigned shadowing dates and shifts. Participants can expect to complete 5 to 7 observation days between December 14, 2026, and January 22, 2027. Complete applications are due October 15, 2026.
• Students accepted into the program will have the opportunity to observe multiple physicians across a variety of medical specialties, providing valuable clinical exposure and experiences that can strengthen future medical school applications.
• Because this program is highly competitive, applicants are encouraged to apply thoughtfully to ensure they can fully commit to the experience.
