ABOUT THE PROGRAM

• The Pre‑Med Shadow Program is open to United States citizens with strong ties to central Minnesota. Applicants must have completed a minimum of two years of college coursework and must be available to participate in shadowing on the specific days and shifts assigned, approximately 10 observation days between 7/13 - 7/31, 2026. Students accepted into the program can expect to observe multiple physicians working in a variety of specialties, gaining valuable experience to draw on when applying to medical schools. This is a highly completive program, and only serious applicants should apply.
• CentraCare Pre-Med Shadow Program is designed to aid in the maturation of students and their understanding of medicine. Pre-med students accepted into this program will have exposure to various medical specialties and gain patient experiences that will provide insight for medical school application essays and interviews. 
• Has completed at least 2 years of college coursework.

• Is available to shadow physicians on the shifts/days assigned between December 21, 2025 - January 10, 2026.
