Step-by-Step Instructions

Once your profile has been created in Clinician Nexus (read instructions), you can search for the CentraCare opportunities. Additional details are included below.

CentraCare will approve, waitlist, or decline applications for rotations based on organizational prioritization, capacity, and regulatory guidelines. Learners are encouraged to review the onboarding requirements at the time of application. Application submission does not guarantee rotation approval.

Once a rotation has been approved, onboarding begins. All steps are required and must be completed prior to the deadline provided. Learners who have not completed onboarding steps prior to the deadline may need to adjust their start date and may have their rotation canceled. Learners and School/Program Coordinators are responsible for monitoring the onboarding progress of learners.
Epic training is required for all learners; and must be completed on the first morning of the rotation.

Preceptor Assignments

Preceptors are secured through CentraCare’s pre-established process. Solicitation of preceptors by learners or schools/programs is strictly prohibited. Failure to follow this process may result in future requests being declined for the learner or school/program.
